Excited about digital
Presented by Elaine Leung from the Department of Health, Tash Goedecke from the Department of Home Affairs and Christian Modica from the Australian Signals Directorate.
Every year, hundreds of Australians apply for the entry level programs into digital careers in the Australian Public Service (APS). Digital careers are the way of the future and the APS is seen as a great place to begin a career.
Why are these programs so popular? Who are the people who are taking on these jobs? And what do they see as the future for digital in the public sector? 2 current participants in the programs, and a recent graduate, will share why they went into digital, why they chose the APS to develop their career and what their dreams are for their future career in the public sector. The future is here, and our panellists will share with you their excitement about digital in this inspiring session.
