Andrew Larkin is the General Manager for Delivery Modernisation, Welfare Payments Infrastructure Transformation (DM WPIT) ICT. He is the conduit between Business and ICT and is accountable for the development, progress and management of the ICT programmes of work which sit within the DM/WPIT Programme. Andrew strives to bring out the best in people though creating collegiate and collaborative environments. A keen sports fan, Andrew likes to introduce his passion for team work and team ethics to the IT and business landscape.
Educated in Melbourne, Andrew has a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial) and Graduate Diploma of Business (Logistics Management). His career has spanned both public and private sectors, and has included a diverse range of economic landscapes such as defence, energy, agriculture, finance, logistics and large scale IT projects, within Australia and internationally. Andrew is married with three children and two dogs, and spends much of his spare time planning ‘adventure’ holidays. He is an AFL fan and an avid Melbourne Football Club supporter. He has completed the Oxfam Trailwalker (100km walk in under 36 hours) 14 times, an event which he continues to support.
Andrew is involved in various sporting club committees, and is a Soup Kitchen volunteer at St Vincent de Paul.
