myGov gives people a simple and secure way to access government services online.

These services include:

  • Australian JobSearch

  • Australian Taxation Office

  • Centrelink

  • Child Support

  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs

  • Medicare

  • My Aged Care

  • My Health Record

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme

  • Victorian Housing Register Application

Features of myGov include a single login that provides access to all these services and a secure inbox for sending messages to your users.

Our role in myGov

We are jointly responsible for myGov with the Department of Human Services (DHS).

The DTA is the business owner of myGov. We are responsible for:

  • governance

  • strategy

  • policy

  • user experience

  • changes to the service arising from policy objectives or user needs

  • adding new government services

The DHS is responsible for:

  • implementing designs

  • technical development

  • operation and performance

We are working with the DHS to develop and improve myGov. Recently, we worked with the DHS to deliver a new look and feel for myGov.

To create an account go to myGov and click on the ‘Create an account’ button. You can then add the services you want to access.
