Wayne: For any person who started, I would think about the breadth of what the DTA can offer. We are small organisation, but we have a very critical role in government, and that gives people some access and visibility to processes they might not see elsewhere in government. Luke: One of the things I love the most, actually, about working in the DTA is that, we are a small agency, but we're one of the only agencies that has kind of, like, this whole of government view. And really, the positive possibilities, they kind of feel endless when you start to be able to have that big blue sky vision of what government is doing as a whole. Laura: You should join the DTA if you want to work somewhere that values you as a person, as well as your brain and your contributions to the agency. Garrett: Being a small agency. It's quite flat, in nature, which I really enjoy. And there's not a lot of hierarchy that I, I've seen in some other sort of larger departments that I've worked in, which provides a good level of autonomy for me. Olivia: What stands out for me in working at the DTA is the fact that we're a small agency and with a small agency, I've been fortunate enough to get many opportunities that I'm not sure I would have received in a larger agency. Pascal: It's a young cohort, older cohort of people, but everyone's, you know, everyone's an open thinker. Everyone's a critical thinker. Everyone welcomes constructive feedback. Everyone welcomes the left of field idea or a different approach to a problem. And I think that's, it's really refreshing.
