We're Notifying you — 2020 is the year to get onto Notify.gov.au

2019 was a fantastic year for Notify. With over 247 registered services across over 85 agencies and more signing up daily, Notify already supports many Australian government service teams. This has enabled Notify’s simple, clear and fast notifications to reach more people than ever before.

It has been 8 months since Notify’s first trial account transitioned to Live. Since then we have rapidly expanded our services to help many different local, state, and federal government agencies with their notification requirements.

Notify continues to evolve and grow based on user feedback while in public Beta. Many agencies have provided valuable insights on how to make sure Notify best suits their user needs. The messages of enthusiasm and support from agencies Notify has assisted are also encouraging.

We were very impressed with the responsiveness of the Notify team. We signed up and they activated our service within about half an hour. Although there are risks with any new service, everything went through without a hitch. My team will certainly keep Notify in mind for future communications.

2019 Highlights

We had a busy year and are proud to share our achievements and milestones.

Notify agency uptake

The number of agencies looking to take advantage of Notify shows the growing need and expectation for digital communications. We have already had over 247 service teams across all 3 levels of government signing up to Notify. We expect that number to grow even more significantly in 2020. Signing up for a trial account is simple. Head over to Notify.gov.au and register an account, and you can send notifications in minutes.

Notify 2020 Roadmap

The Notify team published our service roadmap in 2019. The Roadmap outlines our plans for the future of the platform, and shares our vision for the features we look forward to bringing to Notify in 2020.

We are very excited about some of the developments planned in this roadmap. This includes:

  • attaching files to emails with encrypted links
  • a 24/7 support management system
  • investigating the addition of letters to the service

Notify on display at Gartner

Another highlight came during the Gartner IT Symposium 2019. Notify was a feature presentation on the main stage exemplifying service delivery at the DTA. Our video was shown to over 1,000 CIOs and senior IT executives from Australia, New Zealand and Asia. We received a surge of attention and enquiries after the event. This shows just how broad the interest and desire for Notify is.

Heading forward into the new decade

2019 was an exciting year for Notify, and 2020 will be bigger and better. With public Beta set to continue through to the end of June, we look forward to the exciting new developments to come. With everything we have accomplished, we can’t wait to see where Notify is by the end of 2020. We’ll be sure to keep you Notified.
