A coordinated approach to buying IT Oracle products and services
A new whole of government (WofG) arrangement with Oracle has been established to make it easier for government agencies to purchase Oracle products and services.
The new arrangement allows government agencies (including state and territory governments) to engage Oracle, at a WofG level.
The arrangement gives agencies better value for money, consistency and flexibility when sourcing Oracle products and services.
Oracle products and services include:
- software licensing and support
- hardware acquisition and hardware support
- professional services
- cloud services.
For non-corporate Commonwealth entities with existing contracts, transition arrangements have been established – we’ll work with those entities closer to the end of their support term or as needed. All new contracts must be made under the new arrangement.
The coordinated approach to digital sourcing will make it easier for agencies to buy technology, drive innovation and get more value out of their investments.
Volume sourcing arrangements have now been established with Rimini Street, Amazon Web Services, SAP, Microsoft, Concur and IBM.
Government agencies can access information about the Oracle arrangement via the DTA’s ICT Procurement Portal.
